Good question, I see them as kind of both. Lyrically I would say that they are influenced by metal but they are defiantly more rock at their core. But is this a bad thing? Not at all, they have consistently kept a extremely unique approach to music and ever since have been pushing the limits of what can be considered rock and metal.

The vocals are boring as shit the singer is boring as shit but the instrumental is pretty damn good. Add a new singer with vocal variety and it could be a solid band. As of now i don't get the hype. A gothic element not properly added to a metal/rock style.

Why does it have to be either? that’s just ego driven labelling...take a quote from Duke “There are two kinds of music. Good music and the other kind”
